MEET KARIN WONG

Karin Wong is a passionate and experienced IB Economics tutor who has been supporting students since 2022. A graduate of St. Stephen’s College, she earned 7/7 in both Economics HL and Mathematics HL, and is currently pursuing the World Bachelor in Business (WBB), a unique triple-degree program across USC, HKUST, and Bocconi.

 

Karin brings global perspective and real-world insight into her sessions, drawing from both academic training and hands-on experience in the finance industry. Her exposure to real-world economic and business contexts adds depth and relevance to the way she teaches core IB content.

 

Karin’s approach is calm, student-centered, and focused on building both understanding and exam skills. Whether breaking down tricky diagrams, polishing IAs, or prepping for final exams, she always tailors lessons to what each student needs most. Her goal isn’t just to help students earn a 7, it’s to make the IB journey feel far less overwhelming and much more empowering.
